Born in 1970, Prof. Dr. Frank Schorkopf holds the chair of Public and European law at the university of Göttingen and is member of the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen. During the winter semester 2016/17 and summer semester of 2017 he joined the college as a visiting scholar. During this time, he principally occupied himself with the study of the societal concept of diversity and its implications on democratic theory – his study has been published in September 2017 by Ferdinand Schöningh.
