Dr. Andreas Rose studied historical sciences, economy and political sciences in Germany and Great Britain. He placed a focus on international relations, military history as well as history of political theory, ideas and economy in the 19th and 20th century. Until 2017 he had been working as graduate research assistant for Prof. Dr. Dominik Geppert, who held the chair for newer and newest history at the University of Bonn. In 2017/18, Dr. Rose was Konrad-Adenauer-Fellow at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2017. Furthermore, he became project coordinator for the edition project "Hans Delbrück" at the historical commission of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences in 2018. In the winter semester 2018/19 Dr. Rose has joined the FnG as visiting scholar for his historical habilitation project „Mehr Freiheit wagen“ – Die Renaissance der Sozialen Marktwirtschaft (1972-1990).
